Here’s the Gateron Magnetic Jade Ultra! This magnetic switch could have been in my top 3 for sure! Extremely smooth with amazing sound, they feature Gateron’s Dual-Drive architecture. The Gateron Jade Pro switches are an excellent choice if you’re looking for premium Hall-Effect performance with a refined sound profile.

I tested these switches with GMK, MT3, and SA keycaps, all on the same mechanical keyboard for a fair and accurate sound comparison. The acoustic tests were recorded in a controlled environment to reveal each switch’s true sound signature—both with and without keycaps.

⚠️ Note: While this is a magnetic switch, I tested it on a mechanical keyboard purely for sound comparison purposes. These switches are only compatible with Hall Effect keyboards.

Keyboard: DZ60 PCB with Tofu60 aluminum case
Plate: FR4
Tests performed: Typing test, slow bottom-out test, and decibel meter readings (with and without keycaps)
