Today I was walking around Govardhan and came to my favorite old friend, a tree.
I went with a bottle of water and first embraced the tree.
I then expressed my desire to purify my heart and come closer to Radha and Krishna. Somehow it felt very personal, and I asked, “And how are you?”
I heard: “I have a few ants under my bark. When you pour your water, can you please pour it on the bark so it goes inside? Then the ants will come out.”

I took my bottle of water, poured it over the bark of that beautiful friend of mine, and a few ants started to run out from under the bark. These trees are very, very powerful. They are living trees—and they are certainly talking trees. Every single tree, creeper, and resident of Vrindavan is full of the shakti to give blessings.

If you come to Vrindavan, find one of these trees, serve him, embrace him, ask for blessings—and you will see a miracle manifest before your eyes.
