This is a video of my journey from #Gisborne situated on the North Island of New #Zealand to #Hokitika on the South Island. The journey was to pick up a 2015 Ford Transit van and return with it to Gisborne. I fly out of Gisborne airport on an Air New Zealand flight to #Auckland. After spending two days in Hokitika, I travel to #Picton where I stay several more days waiting for an InterIsland ferry back to the North Island. It's Christmas time 2021 and I had not allowed for the fact that all the transportation services would be booked out so I had to stay over several days in Hokitika and Picton.
I have traded campervans and motorhomes for many years in New Zealand. I have traveled all over the country picking up and delivering campers. New Zealand is a beautiful country and I only wish I had documented my travels as I have seen some spectacular scenery. I have traveled around the country more than many Kiwis ever would.
I have traveled by air, train, bus, taxi, and ferries. I have slept in campgrounds, hotels, and motels, I have slept in campervans and motorhomes, and I have slept out in the forests, along country lanes, and under bridges.
I have seen so much of this beautiful country and I feel very privileged to have had that opportunity.
It is the first video I have uploaded so please excuse the amateur presentation.
