Steve has shown himself to be the most unique character in the entire history of Super Smash Bros. It feels like he's the most faithful to his game of Minecraft than any other character in this roster right now.

I simply wonder what kind of character would be able to top this out of the remaining four in the Fighter Pass Vol. 2? We'll find out, soon enough!

Steve's Classic Mode run is called "Journey to the Far Lands", referring to a significant terrain glitch in very early releases of Minecraft. Every Round in this run references different elements and beings in Minecraft, and several rounds are Stamina matches to reference the game's own health system.

In Round 1, Steve fights in a Stamina match against 8 other Steves that are using the Zombie alt, referencing Minecraft's Zombie hordes.

In Round 2, Steve teams up with a Villager and a Giant R.O.B to fight in a normal match against 4 Blue Warios. The 4 Warios represent Minecraft's Pillagers, the Giant R.O.B. references Minecraft's Iron Golen, and the Villager represents Minecraft's own version of Villagers.

In Round 3, Steve fights in a Stamina match against 3 White Links. These Links represent Minecraft's Skeleton enemies, and like them, prefer to shoot arrows at you.

In Round 4, Steve fights in a Stamina match against 3 Tiny Blue Pits and a Robin. Those Pits reference Minecraft's Vexes, while Robin represents Minecraft's Evoker.

In Round 5, Steve fights in a Stamina against 2 Giant White Kirbys and 2 Tiny Pink King K. Rools. The Kirbys are Ghasts, and the K. Rools are Piglins.

In Round 6, Steve fights in a normal match against 2 Giant Steves that are using the Enderman alt. They are giant because this is how huge the Enderman really are in Minecraft!

In the Final Round, Steve has a vicious Stamina match against a Giant Ridley (or rather, true-sized Ridley) against two Enderman. This Giant Ridley represents the Ender Dragon of Minecraft, which is seen as the game's final boss.

My gameplay with Steve here isn't as ridiculously bonkers as I've seen on Twitter. However, I still managed to do well enough that I got my Intensity to 9.9 BEFORE reaching Ridley at the end. If you use a Classic Ticket after dying when that happens, you'll still keep that 9.9 even after beating Classic Mode.
