We, the students of Dr. DY Patil College of Engineering, Pune of SE (IT) - B, present the concept for MHRD Mega Online Challenge “SAMADHAN” on Monitor Exposure of Virus, fulfill needs and prevent economic collapse. The idea for solution is an Android App.

Abstract:

Problem:

· Unemployed informal workers

· Overcrowding

· Unknown extent spread of virus

Our idea aims at building an android application to
monitor the exposure of the virus while satisfying the essential needs
of the people during the lockdown period and also serve as a platform
to provide opportunities to economically affected people.

Our idea consists of three parts:

1. A portal where Employer will list opportunities available in different areas

such as mask production, delivery, transportation, help with NGO etc. These opportunities can provide the informal workers with their daily needs. Currently these laborers are staying in shelter homes/schools. A volunteer (from NGO, SHGs, MSMEs) who will register on our app will communicate what job is available and in which region. Jobs requiring training can be given by the Employer.

2. Risk is involved in going out for daily needs if not equipped with
proper sanitation and equipment. To eliminate the risk people can order
through our app and get it delivered by trained people mentioned in Point 1.

3. To track and contain the contamination, users who are registered on the app and in the future if they are contaminated with the virus, our app can be used to track the history of the person and see where he/she has been. In this way tests can be done accordingly and also know the spread of the extent of the virus.
