Nainital is the most accessible hill station in North India. It is 325 km from Delhi. Private taxis, shared taxis and overnight buses are easily available from Delhi to Nainital. The nearest railway station is Kathgodam, 35km away. Taxis and buses are available from Kathgodam to Nainital.
The nearest convenient airport to travel to Nainital is the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi.
Alternatively, travel to Pantnagar Airport or Bareilly Airport by flight from Delhi Airport. Hire a taxi or bus from Pantnagar or Bareilly to Nainital.
⚫ Nainital Lake -
Situated in the centre of Nainital, Naini Lake (short for Nainital Lake) is a beautiful natural fresh body lake. The lake is in crescent or kidney shape and is one of the most famous lakes of the Kumaon region.
