Smartphone usage has become ubiquitous but how secure are our communications? This talk gives an overview of the keys and algorithms that make 5G communications secure. We'll cover the security aspects both the radio access part and the core network part. We'll get an overview of security procedures. This talk is meant for telecom professionals, security professionals, mathematicians and anyone curious about these algorithms. No prior knowledge is needed.
