Barnwood House Hospital was an important and significant private Mental Asylum which dominated Barnwood in Gloucester for over 100 years.

Although it closed in 1968, and the main building demolished soon after, there is still evidence of its presence in and around Barnwood.

Local Historian Richard Auckland takes a tour round the area, briefly discussing the hospital's history and pointing out that evidence.
