Honda CB1100 Oil Change

I made this video for a person buying this bike and thought others might learn something, or at least get a kick out of my idiosyncrasies. It's also a good closeup for someone interested in the CB1100. While the 2013 owner's manual states a recommended oil change interval of 4,000 miles (or one year), later model years of this bike (with no engine changes) have a recommended oil change interval of 8,000 miles! I suspect that this is more about Honda being market competitive than anything else. I did do an oil analysis on a recent 4,000 mile oil change with the oil type shown in this video, and Blackstone Laboratories reported very low wear material and good life remaining in the oil - suggested I try a 6,000 mile interval next time, but I don't put that many miles on this bike per year.
