How Do I Get Started with the Filament Bible App?

You just got your new Filament Bible and you're ready to get started connecting your Bible to the app.

Let's walk through what it looks like to get this Bible connected to the app.

1. Go into your device and open your app store or Google Play.
2. Search for "Filament Bible app" and download it onto your device.
3. Open the app and follow the instructions to pair your device to the app.
a. Tap anywhere on the "Welcome" screen.
b. Locate "I've got the full Bible and I can't wait to get started", then tap "Connect Now".
c. Open your Bible and locate the title page at the front of your Bible.
d. Look for the Filament Bible app icon at the top of the title page then tap "Got it" on the device (or another option is to tap "I don't see it").
e. You'll need to allow the app to have access to your camera and then match the icon from your device with the icon in your Bible.
f. You'll receive confirmation on the next screen that the FIlament Bible app on your device is now paired with the print Bible.
g. Next, the app will indicate a page number to turn to in your print Bible. Go to that page and locate the icon.
h. Next, tap the camera button in the app. It is located at the top right of your screen.
i. Align the Filament Bible icon on your screen with the icon on the page you turned to in the print Bible.
j. Tap to confirm and now you're connected!
k. You will then have the opportunity to sign up for a Filament Bible account if you would like to access some great features in the app such as reading plans. You are not required to sign up with an account to use the app. If you choose to sign up please enter your name, email address, and a password.
j. You can choose to allow the app to send you notifications (for example, if you sign up for reading plans it will send you a daily notification for the length of the plan).
k. The app will download all of the information for the Bible you paired it with. Once that is complete, you're ready to go!
