A tragic collapse of a railway station canopy in Novi Sad in November 2024, which claimed 15 lives, has ignited widespread student-led protests against government corruption and negligence. These protests expanded nationwide, uniting diverse groups, like teachers, farmers and workers seeking accountability from President Aleksandar Vučić’s administration. In this panel discussion we explore different angles of these protests, looking at the political implications and wider societal responses.
