This is a fantastic spot for surfing in the write conditions and is known locally as “the Widemouth Dump”. This is from the waves break on to the shore and dump you quite hard on the sand. I have tried a different method of colour correcting in this video trying to get greater contrast. The GoPro also had a polarizing filter on to help reduce the glare and increase the contrast in the clouds and sky. However the video suffers badly from “jello” and in hind sight I should have used a Neutral Density filter in conjunction with the polarizing filter. This decreases the shutter speed to reduce the jello effect.
