Mega Man Zero 2 (Playthrough PART 1 - No Commentary) | Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection (PS4)

Mega Man Zero 1 is down! It's time to continue through the Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection and play Mega Man Zero 2. This entry took everything about the original Mega Man Zero and improved it. We got a more engaging story, faster weapon level ups, better balanced difficulty, more Energy Crystal drops, more affordable Cyber Elf growth requirements, 2 physical Sub Tanks that can be found, among other quality of life improvements. The only area where Zero 2 suffers is in the localization. There are a lot of weird grammar and spelling mistakes which rival Mega Man X6 in terms of silliness. However, Mega Man Zero 2 is still very satisfying to play and far less frustrating than its predecessor.

Mega Man Zero 2 is longer than Zero 1, so I could not show the entire playthrough in one video. Instead, I had to split it into 2 videos, each encompassing one half of the story. This video (Part 1) centers around the intro stage and the ill fated Operation Righteous Strike. Enjoy!

This playthrough did not use any Cyber Elves in order to maintain as high a mission rank as possible. This allowed me to earn the EX Skills of each boss and maintain an A rank throughout. This means that I had 16 units of health the entire game. However, the physical 2 Sub Tanks in the Forests of Dysis and Notus makes this more than palpable.
