Why This Hot Wheels Cake Cost ₹10,000? Here's the Truth!

This was one of the most unique cakes we’ve made—both in design and the reason behind the choices! The image on the left was the reference given by our customer, and the one on the right is what we crafted at Happyoi.

Now you might ask… why ₹10,000 for this cake?

Here’s the real story: to get that dark navy blue shade on the bottom tier, we’d typically have to add a LOT of food color. But nowadays, with so much awareness from YouTube and social media, people are rightly worried about food safety and health. Food colors in high quantity can stain your fingers and raise health concerns, especially for kids at birthday parties.

Our customer didn’t want to take that risk. So instead of going with cream and heavy coloring, they chose a full fondant cake—which is much safer and cleaner to handle, though it does cost more due to the labor and materials involved.

So yes, this could’ve been done cheaper, but safety and satisfaction come first!
