Be aware of if they have the RIGHT qualifications: for a CBT therapist in the UK, they need to have a CBT Diploma.

Question whether they have a BABCP accreditation. This shows that your therapist is following ethical guidelines and practices.

Question whether they use evidence based techniques.

Question whether you can relate to your therapist on a personal level.
