The first tactic I teach in a doubles strategy clinic is court positioning. How many times do you hear people say " that's my ball it's on my side of the court"?

If you have this mentality you are not covering the court as a team and you will be susceptible to your opponent’s just pecking away at you!

Team Forman Tennis to Better Doubles

#1 Tactic: Move with the bounce of the ball on both sides of the court.
Once the ball is in play, all 4 players should be in motion on every bounce, every hit! Covering 3/4 of the court as team forces your opponents to hit a low percentage shot to angles that may not exist.

Remember - you don't have to be a pro to train like a pro!
