With the latest game update to Infinite Galaxy, I must say that I'm truly disappointed in this latest upgrade. I actually thought IG was finally going to implement a new mechanic that would level the playing field for all players, based on their power rating.
After IG posted an invitation to all players to give you suggestions on how to improve the game a month ago, their response to all of the feedback is to do the exact opposite of what the vast majority were begging them to do to improve the game... and that was to CLOSE THE POWER GAP, or at least separate the whales from the other 99% of players so that battles & event rankings (for rewards to grow) weren't so one-sided.
Instead, and yet again, their 'improvements' to the game caters directly and specifically to an extremely small group of affluent players who can afford to dump 10's of 1000's of dollars on pixels to buy an unfair advantage and dominance over 99% of the other players in this game.
I sincerely hope that these 'whales' that IG is obviously only focused on appeasing with every new update and battle mechanic will enjoy the sounds of crickets that will echo throughout this game now as the other 99% finally realize that IG's goal is not to improve the game for EVERYONE, but to cater ONLY to whales, and the rest of the players ALL QUIT THIS GAME out of frustration and the realization that it is pointless to continue playing this game anymore- unless they're willing and able to dump 1000's of dollars each week into a bottomless pit just to slightly advance in the game and be somewhat competitive in events.
Sorry, but like most players of this game, after 3 years of playing, this is the last straw for me.
It is obvious that I can't afford to play this game anymore, and I won't play a game where my only purpose for playing it is to be cannon fodder for the privileged few who can afford to out-spend me to gain an unfair and enormous advantage in every single event.
