Critical Care Nursing: Identify and Treat Cellulitis

Описание к видео Critical Care Nursing: Identify and Treat Cellulitis

Cellulitis is a deep skin infection primarily diagnosed by patient history and physical symptoms like redness, swelling, and pain. Its diagnosis can be challenging due to its similarity to conditions like dermatitis and eczema. Most non-purulent cellulitis cases are caused by certain bacteria and are effectively treated with common oral antibiotics. Despite rising cases of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, additional treatment coverage for non-purulent cellulitis is usually not needed.
