For the second time I had the pleasure to film this very special prototype. So special who I decided to make again a multicam video to share you as much as possible the feelings of that "Red Rocket" is able to give. First of all thanks to Alessio Arena, builder and owner of the Fiat 126 Proto (His Youtube channel:    / @aralearale5  ) and my friends Davide458Italia (   / user   davide458italia)for his video collaboration! The car is based on the Alessio's grandfather 1976 Fiat 126. Instead of scrapping he decided to change the car into this prototype after he saw a similarproject, motorized by a Kawasaki engine. His "Red Rocket" features the 1.100cc Honda CBR XX engine capable of 164hp. Also the gearbox come from the motorbike. With a weight of only 550 kg you can imagine the impressive car performance. Two oil coolers are positioned very well instead of the front lights, a very well job! The push-road suspension are very similar to those of a racing car like the 6 pistons front brakes calipers and disks, all Tarox made. We find Girling floating calipers at the rear. Slick Michelin 13"tires, rear carbon-fiber wing, extractor and flat bottom to keep the "Red Rocket" to the asphalt close the description. Inside the OMP single seater is centrally located and the instrument panel, which is derived from the Honda, have the addition of some digital indicators such gear change, temperature and oil pressure. The design features and sophistication of the solution employed make this project a high quality product and a remarkable Alessio "first Opera". The famous Italian car magazine Elaborare dedicated a complete coverage report the test driver Maurizio Spinali was hooked! Well done Alessio and guys, enjoy the video!

Per la seconda volta ho avuto il piacere di filmare un prototipo davvero particolare e molto speciale. Talmente speciale che ho deciso di fare nuovamente un video in multicam per rendervi partecipi il più possibile delle sensazioni che questo "Razzo Rosso" è in grado di dare. Innanzitutto ringrazio Alessio Arena, costruttore e proprietario della 126 Proto (Il suo canale youtube:    / @aralearale5  ) ed il mio amico Davide458Italia (   / davide458italia  ) per la collaborazione video. La vettura è di base la Fiat 126 del nonno di Alessio, anno 1976. Per evitare di rottamarla ha deciso di trasformarla in questo prototipo dopo che vide e si innamorò di un progetto simile, motorizzato Kawasaki però. La sua "Rossa" monta il 1.100cc Honda CBR XX capace di 164cv ed anche il cambio è quello motociclistico. Con un peso di soli 550 kg vi lascio immaginare le prestazioni. Ha dotato inoltre la vettura di due radiatori dell'olio posizionati egregiamente al posto dei fanali frontali, un lavoro ben fatto, come la cura generale che pervade la vettura. Sospensioni push-road da vera auto da corsa, all'anteriore impianto frenante con pinze a 6 pompanti in ergal e dischi freno baffati, tutto Tarox. Al posteriore pinze flottanti Girling. Pneumatici slick Michelin da 13", alettone in carbonio, estrattore e fondo piatto per tenere il "razzo rosso" incollato all'asfalto. All'interno troviamo il sedile OMP posizionato centralmente ed il quadro strumenti che deriva dalla moto Honda con l'aggiunta di alcuni indicatori digitali quali cambiata, temperatura e pressione olio. La cura costruttiva e la raffinatezza delle soluzione impiegate ne fanno un prodotto di alto livello ed un'opera prima notevolissima per Alessio. La rivista italiana di auto Elaborare ha dedicato un servizio sulla 126 Proto e lo stesso Maurizio Spinali guidandola ne è rimasto conquistato!
