Human Fall Flat is an indie game that has sold more copies globally than Overwatch, The Witcher 3, and Pokemon Red & Blue.

The game was solo-developed by Tomas Sakalauskas and published by Curve Digital. Initially, Sakalauskas focused on making mobile games, although he ran out of money partway and instead turned his concentration towards the development of a PC game that he stated was his "last shot at gaming."

Through a series of clever design choices and finding inspiration from playtesting with his son, Sakalauskas struck gold with his approach as he made the puzzles "not really watertight," enabling a multiplayer mode to let players play with friends.

As of January 2025, Human: Fall Flat has sold over 55,000,000 units.

In Human: Fall Flat, players control a minimalist, human-like character named “Bob” to solve a range of physics-based puzzles while encountering a fair share of comedic scenarios. What started as a game with just 8 maps has ballooned to now 28, with countless customization options and mods.
