In our latest dyno test we had this 2021 Ford Ranger Wildtrak 2.0 213hp in for an install and testing. Awesome custom wrapping on this one, really setting it apart from just your standard pickup. We installed our Pro + Boost chip tuning box and loaded it on to the rollers.

The customer wanted a bit more from the engine, and with current remapping unavailable for this ECU, our tuning box was the perfect solution.

Dyno testing before and after shows healthy gains across the rev range, with a significant increase in power and torque.

Peak power was increased, we were able to lift it from 211hp at stock, up to 257hp with the box. Taking a look at the dyno graph here 0:31 you can see how the curve changes (dotted red and blue lines), bringing that power in right down from those lower revs, and showing improvements across the whole rev range.

Torque with our box is also greatly improved. At stock the engine produced 498Nm, and now 646Nm with the box, so a significant increase of 148Nm. Again, taking a look at the graph (solid lines), you can really see the difference in that curve, seeing those gains start to climb right down at 2000rpm and holding those right throughout the revs.
