Texas DPS clears up confusion on new car inspection law

Starting next year, Texans won't have to get their cars inspected in order to get their registration tags. That's thanks to a new law eliminating the need for inspections on non-commercial vehicles.

But the law is causing some confusion for Texas drivers. Texas DPS Sgt. Deon Cockrell joined KVUE Midday to provide some clarity.
