Maganda dito | Big Wave Beach HK

I and my friends decided to go to Big Wave Bay or Tai Long Wan by means of hiking 😂 It’s fun and mainit and memorable get together experience,anyway Big wave beach is a bay in the Southern District of Hong Kong. It is located on the eastern coast of Hong Kong Island.

So How to get THERE? Good question! We go there by means of hiking and it’s a bit complicated to demonstrate how because there are lots of entry and exits points that makes it difficult to say so let me just share the easiest and more convenient way to go there.

GETTING THERE – MTR Island Line to Shau Kei Wan Station exit A3 then from nearby Shau Kei Wan Bus Terminus take number 9 bus* (approx every 15/20 mins) for Shek O. Get off at the junction of Shek O Road with Big Wave Bay Road (at a sharp U-turn) from where it is about 10 minutes walk to Big Wave Bay Village and beach.
Mini bus: From Shau Kei Wan MTR (Mass Transit Railway), located next to MTR exit A2 (turn left), directly opposite the Jockey Club and 7-11.
