📍 Piazza Statuto
Pizza Statuto is one of Turin's central squares, created in the 19th century to commemorate the unification of Italy. At its center stands the Monument to the Workers of the Fréjus Tunnel (1879), dedicated to the builders of the railway tunnel connecting Italy and France. The monument depicts Prometheus being subdued by Titans, symbolizing human perseverance against nature's challenges.

The square is also known for its mystical reputation, as it was built on an old cemetery and is often linked to Turin's legends of black magic.

📍 Piazzetta Savoia
Piazzetta Savoia is a small historic square connected to the House of Savoy, the royal dynasty that ruled Piedmont and later unified Italy. It features the Monument to the Border Between France and Savoy (from the 1850s), marking the former border between the Kingdom of Sardinia and France.

Surrounded by 18th and 19th-century buildings, the square showcases elegant architecture from the Savoy era. While not as famous among tourists, it holds historical significance in Turin's urban landscape.

📍 Palazzo Madama
Palazzo Madama is one of Turin's most important palaces. Its history dates back to the Roman era when it served as a city gate. Later, it became a medieval fortress and then a residence of the House of Savoy.

The name "Madama" comes from two widowed duchesses-Christine of France and Maria Giovanna Battista of Savoy-who played key roles in Piedmont's history. In the 18th century, architect Filippo Juvarra redesigned the palace, giving it its famous Baroque façade.

Today, Palazzo Madama houses the Civic Museum of Ancient Art, featuring valuable artworks and historical artifacts.

Piazza Palazzo di Città is one of Turin's most historic squares, serving as the city's political and administrative center for centuries. It is home to Palazzo di Città, the Turin City Hall, which has housed the municipal government since the 17th century.

At the center of the square stands the Statue of Conte Verde (Amedeo VI of Savoy), a medieval ruler known for his military campaigns and diplomatic efforts. The surrounding buildings showcase elegant Baroque architecture, reflecting Turin's rich history.

Today, the square remains a vibrant spot for civic events, gatherings, and cultural activities, maintaining its historical importance in the heart of the city.
