I love LAREINE! They're my most-listened band of all-time!

Sadly, SME Records has blocked most LAREINE videos on YouTube in a lot of countries... As a result, a lot of the music videos and live performances that I, and other YouTube users have uploaded, are now impossible to see in almost all of the world.

And SME Records uploaded the two major-label LAREINE releases on Spotify, but region-locked the main one to Japan only... These truely are dark times for LAREINE fans...

About this song: It's one of their oldest songs, from their indies era, and first released on their third demo tape, "月夜の歌劇", in 1996. I think it's a masterfully written song; Very intense and emotional, with an effective build-up to the climax. I would consider this KAMIJO's first true masterpiece (out of many that would come after!).

This live version is amazing too! I'm especially impressed by MAYU's guitar playing in this. It's also astonishing how much harmonic fullness and density could come out of just these four guys (and their background keyboard player), especially considering MAYU mostly plays monophonic melodies instead of chords.

I also think it's lovely that they decided to include some of their earliest demo songs in big live performances years later like this one!
