Mario Teaches Typing (Mac CD) | MIRT Head Compilation w/ Enhanced Audio

The popular video game plumber's floating disembodiment of early CG nightmares that became a viral YouTube sensation for almost 30 years, now gets a boost in audio quality!

Straight from the 1994-5 Enhanced CD-ROM Macintosh port of Mario Teaches Typing, is a compilation of (almost) all the MIRT (Mario in Real Time) head clips with audio enhancements of the voiceover by Charles Martinet (Mario's current actor). It was one of those rare ports that (for the most part) the audio sample rate of the MIRT clips would be higher than the compressed 8-bit ADPCM samples in the Windows CD-ROM port.

Apart from that improvement, the video resolution of the compressed MIRT clips also had a slight upgrade from the Windows port, where the game's 256 color scheme and enhanced graphics (essentially the same as the original Mac floppy port) applied more bits to the 3D head model at a slightly large 272x218 resolution in a 512x320 display; compare to the 220x144 resolution in the Windows port.

This was a profound discovery that rarely any MTT fan or YTPer would share to many who wish to edit sources for any passionate project, and this may be your golden opportunity to preserve these MIRT clips from an obscure port of this mediocre-at-best typing game built for schools in the 90s.
