MKT Train Extra 327 passing North St. Louis, 4-10-1988

On April 10th, 1988, a few months before the Katy's Demise, Extra 327 passes two large industries in North St. Louis, Missouri.

Note all the Railroad owned trailers on this Train, Santa Fe, Seaboard System, Burlington Northern, Conrail, etc.

After the MKT merged witht he Union Pacific, all 4 of the Locomotives went to Diffrent Railroads. The 327 became Albany and Eastern #2001, the 330 became Wisconsin and Southern #3803, the 187 became EMDX Leasor #187, and the 181 became Dakota, Minnisota and Easteron #4001. The Caboose on the train is MKT Wide Vision Caboose #133, and was retired by the Union Pacific on November 15th, 1989, and is presumed to have been scrapped.
