A few hours ago, we got new info about the Chronicle Wish banner.

So today, we are going to discuss whether the Chronicle Wish is delayed or not, along with speculations about the other rerun characters in 5.3.

This video is going to be important, as I also have a surprise for you guys.

Before we dive into it, without further ado, let’s get started.

First, let’s discuss the Chronicle Wish banner—whether it’s going to come in 5.3 or not, and why it’s not in the 5.3 beta yet.

According to leaks from Homedgcat, he didn’t mention anything about the Chronicle Wish in his banner leaks.

So, there’s a chance that the Chronicle Wish won’t be in 5.3 and might be delayed to 5.4 or a later patch.

But that doesn’t mean it’s 100% confirmed. There’s still a chance we might see the banner in 5.3.

I have a leak from an anonymous Chinese source claiming that we will see the Chronicle Wish in 5.3.

We already know the first candidate character for the Chronicle Wish.

I’ve mentioned this in my previous video, but let me explain again:

The next Chronicle Wish will definitely have a Liyue theme and feature Liyue characters.

These characters include Ganyu, Baizhu, Xiao, Keqing, and Qiqi.

We need to exclude Zhongli because he’s getting his rerun alongside Neuvillette in 5.2.

If Zhongli didn’t get that rerun, he would have likely been in the Chronicle Wish banner.

Even though he’s an Archon, the rules don’t state that Archons can’t appear in a Chronicle Wish.

Apart from Zhongli, the only other Liyue character with a chance to appear is Yelan.

I know Yelan got her rerun in version 4.8, but I’m unsure if we’d consider that “recent.”

If her previous rerun is considered recent, she won’t be in the Chronicle Wish banner. However, if the Chronicle Wish gets delayed, Yelan could definitely appear in the lineup.

That’s all about the characters and the Liyue theme for the Chronicle Wish banner.

Now, let’s discuss whether we’ll get the Chronicle Wish in 5.3 or not.

From the 5.3 beta overview, it’s clear there’s no mention of the Chronicle Wish.

This makes it seem more likely that the banner will be delayed to either version 5.4 or 5.5.

But this is still just speculation. If the Chronicle Wish isn’t delayed, we might get more info about it in the next beta version.

If you’re doubting my speculation, let me remind you—I correctly predicted the 5.3 banner lineup. Maybe I’m Aizen, LOL.

Jokes aside, I even predicted Arlecchino long ago, even though recent leaks suggested we’d get Xianyun and Shenhe reruns instead.

Since we’re already talking about 5.3, let’s discuss the final rerun character.

If you didn’t know, we only have confirmation of three five-star characters:

Mavuika, Citlali, and Arlecchino.
