In this video, I explain the volleyball rotations for a 5-1 system. A 5-1 volleyball offense involves one setter and 5 hitters, so the setter plays in both the front and back rows. The most traditional serve receive rotations involve 3 passers, so that is what we discuss here. When starting to play volleyball competitively, these serve receive formations can be really confusing. I break down how to think about where you are on the court in relation to the other players, and how that determines where to stand on serve receive. The rules are specific, but once you learn them, they make a lot of sense.
