Meet John Van Cleave, Our Volunteer Spotlight of the Month!

John has been volunteering with us for 5 years, initially joining alongside his daughter for her high school silver cord project. Now his son is continuing the family tradition as they volunteer together.

"I come back because I've met wonderful people here. It just feels good to be able to give back to the community," John says. "You hear how important volunteers are for helping get food to those in need."

John encourages others to try volunteering for even just one shift. "It's amazing the people you'll meet and the friends you'll make while addressing hunger insecurity in your community."
