This is a video documentation of our journey from Hyderabad to South Goa (Varca). We took this journey on 28th December, 2023.

Although Hyderabad - Solapur - Amboli Ghat is one of the most popular routes from Hyderabad, but prior to that Hyderabad-Kalaburgi-Belagavi was the main option for people opting for a roadtrip to Goa.

We have tried to put all points which will be helpful for your Hyderabad to Goa roadtrip.

Few points to remember if you decide to take this scenic route:

(1) Try to cover the Humnabad-Kalburagi-Vijapura-Bagalkot section in daylight. The main reason is that the road can get extremely desolate at night (we have prior experience) .
(2) Look out for sudden speed-breakers!
(3) You can break your journey at Vijapura, as we did. Its kind of a middle place between Hyderabad and Goa.
(4) Food joints between Humnabad-Bagalkot is very few.
(5)Never leave NH50, while travelling frm Humnabad-Vijapura (even if Google suggests to do so)!
