Political tensions have escalated over the ongoing operation in Tirah Valley. Pakistan Muslim League-N leader Dr Abad, while addressing a gathering of property dealers in Pabbi, accused the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provincial government of conducting the Tirah operation by its own choice while completely ignoring the affected residents.
Dr Abad said the provincial government has no clear public welfare agenda and is more focused on political loyalty than on the hardships faced by the people of Tirah. He stressed that displaced and affected families are suffering, with no serious rehabilitation or relief plan in place.
