2018 MG ZS Review - High Value Crossover

Is the reborn MG brand on the right track with its crucial new crossover, the ZS? We grab a go in one in the UK to get a feel for the latest offering from the Chinese-owned British-marque.

This MG ZS is a UK-spec 1.0-litre 3-cyl Turbo version producing 111bhp and 160NM giving a 0-100kph acceleration time of 12.3 seconds and a 180kph top speed with 6.3L/100km combined fuel consumption. It's about GBP12,000.

In our region we get the 1.5-litre 4cyl version with 119bhp and 150NM giving a 0-100 time of just under 11 seconds with a top speed of 175kph and fuel consumption of 5.8L/100km. It's front-wheel drive with a 4-speed auto and is priced from AED44,000 ($12k).
