3AK MELBOURNE 90- PETER FORD "Alive & Dangerous" BILL KERR interview & songs from the musical 'Cole'

This video is among the first I made, in 2013, before they were being credited with a "BFB", but intended for another channel "Rude Radio", which i didn't go ahead with.

Peter Ford is Australia's preeminent show business journalist, a staple of TV, radio and print.

For a brief time in 1989-1990, he also had his own radio show, "Alive and Dangerous".

And yours truly helped out.

In this package from late 1989 is Australian actor Bill Kerr in an interview and also singing "It's De Lovely" and "Brush Up Your Shakespeare" in the 1977 London West End musical "Cole", of which I had the pleasure of reminding him.

Incidentally, I didn't hear from Bill re getting a copy of "Cole" and promptly forgot about it.

Until almost 25 years later, when making this video.

I sought Bill Kerr and found him, well, his manager and sent off "Cole", a few decades after Bill Kerr asked for it!

I was told it brought him a lot of joy in his last weeks.
