This is my, Domu's, playthrough of Pokémon Blaze Black as a Nuzlocke. It is going to be hard. I stream it on the weekends at   / domuplays  

Blaze Black is an edit that changes various aspects of the game, like typing and movepools and the capability to obtain all pokémon as of the 5th Generation. It is also reputed to have a drastic difficulty curve.

A Nuzlocke is a set of self-imposed rules to make the game more challenging. It usually involves considering a fainted pokémon as dead and, thus, unusable and limiting the amount of available catches. The rules I have set for myself are as follows:

1. If a pokémon faints, I can no longer use it.

2a. I can and must only catch the first two pokémon I encounter in an area.

2b. If I encounter a pokémon I already own or a pokémon of the same evolutionary line of a pokémon I own, I may not try to catch again.

2c. No legendaries

2d. Gift pokémon are okay.

2e. I may only choose one fossil pokémon.

3. 3 wipes mean a restart.

Growlith Medal (Red Medal): The Pokémon that wears this medal has pulled his weight, contributing to the team, helping it progress further.

Stoutland Medal (Blue Medal): The pokémon that wears this medal has gone beyond the call of duty and, against all odds, rescued the team from a dire situation.
