Hi, I'm Jennifer Williams I'm the owner and founder of Saint Louis Closet Co. We're here today in my showroom and I am so excited to tell you about my business.

In 1991, I was in graduate school at St. Louis University studying communications and I was waiting tables at three different restaurants. A friend of mine came to St. Louis and opened up a custom closet company. I was designing closets with them for about two weeks, I fell in love with what I was doing and decided this is what I wanted to do. So I immediately quit three of my waitressing jobs, dropped out of graduate school, I spent two weeks researching the industry finding out everything I could about it and then I got an SBA loan and I started Saint Louis Closet Co.

The great thing about our business and our product is it's manufactured right here in St. Louis. All of our machines are custom designed and brought in from Germany for the custom closet industry. We specifically designed and ordered our machines for our business so every single closet that we manufacture is cut and measured down to the millimeter because a custom closet is not a cabinet, it's a closet and in your closet you want adjustability from the floor to the ceiling.

We have the most fabulous building and our showroom highlights everything we do. First of all we've made sure that the lighting in our showroom is similar to the lighting in your home, so that when you come in and see the colors of the woods that we offer, the lighting is going to represent what it will look like in your home. This building is one hundred and twenty eight years old and we didn't tear it down, we saved it we rehabbed it and we reuse the parts. We went out of her way to use every green process we could.

At Saint Louis Closet Co. our designers are fabulous and just as we manufacture to the millimeter they design to the millimeter. They're able to sit down with you at your kitchen table and draw your custom closet right there. You're involved, they're involved, and you can get your design and the quote right away. We offer organizational systems all over your home. It's so important to be organized not only does it save you time but it allows you to find things so much easier and so much faster. An organized life is a happy life.
