Robert L. Schreiwer is a founder of the Heathen denomination of Urglaawe, a Ziewer (godsman) of Distelfink Sippschaft, and a trained practitioner of the Deitsch (Pennsylvania German) healing traditions of Braucherei and Hexerei. He conducts a folklore research project to gather oral lore from all regions of Deitsch settlement. He is a Special Education teacher by day and an Instructor of the Pennsylvania Dutch language by night. He is the former Steer (President) of The Troth, Chaplain in In-Reach Heathen Prison Services, and Senior Manager of Heathens Against Hate.
