Cygnus is my favourite constellation of the summer, and within it lies my favourite summertime deep sky object - the Eastern Veil Nebula.
This is part of a supernova remnant from a star that exploded about 7000 years ago.
Join me as I attempt to image this using a DSLR camera, shooting through a TS Optics 60mm Photo Line Refractor on a Skywatcher EQM 35 mount.
My final image is the result of about an hour and a half's worth of 60 second exposures, stacked in Sequator and processed in Photoshop.
