Easiest succulent to propagate! The Graptopetalum genus has been the optimal balance between neglect tolerance and duration to start. The potential of the ghost plant in leaf propagation is one of the factors that makes me favor this succulent. Although other types of succulents like jelly bean plants and jade plants can leaf propagate, ghost plants are more forgiving due to their larger leaves than jelly bean plants and grow quicker than jade plants. In this video, I am documenting my process in ghost plant propagation. First I establish the roots in a shallow container of soil. Second, I transplant them into a larger area until large enough to pot individually. By the end of the video, these plants are about 2 months old.
