How about the bridges in Brgy. Dansolihon, CDO - Talakag and Brgy. Bayanga, CDO - Baungon?
Yes, that's still part of CDO River.
I will make a separate video for that.
2 more coming projects in the pipeline:
These are the 4.66-kilometer Consolacion-Kauswagan Bridge and Access Road Project, the 430-meter Kalambaguhan-Vamenta Bridge and Access Road Project
As you can see in the video, one flew from Rotonda to Kagay-an Bridge - Ysalina Bridge - JR Borja Bridge - Marcos Bridge - to Puntod Kauswagan Bridge and Macabalan - Bonbon Bridge.
The drone was facing north towards the opening of the sea and when it was near the Puntod - Kauswagan bridge, the Remote Controller signal was lost so I decided to press the Return to Home button (RTH), with the alarm that very strong wind the drone was hardly returning home, I didn't actually expect to have the nice cinematic view of downtown Cagayan de Oro when the drone was returning home. My goal was just to capture the bridges and thank God I got the best video ever from Puntod - Kauswagan Bridge facing the CDO port traveling back to home point facing Downtown Cagayan de Oro City until it reached forced landing, short of 59 meters to the drone's home point origin. Thank God I still managed to land it safely. This is the 3rd time risking the drone due to strong wind. The drone is capable of 10 km travel as advertised but even 80% of that is fine. But because of the strong wing, it's only around 30% of that, and the battery was drained very fast.
Back to our topic, as what the title of this video.
With just one search using Bridge in Cagayan de Oro City through Google one can already see the number of bridges that serve as connecting roads from the West part of Cagayan de Oro, to the East.
THE FIRST BRIDGE
But like every collection, there needs to be a first.
So what is the first bridge in Cagayan de Oro City? We’ll answer that with a little history.
According to Fr. Francisco Demetrio S.J., in his book entitled “Cagayan”, the first bridge in Cagayan de Oro City was built in what we now know as Ysalina Bridge (Or Carmen Bridge), and it was a bit unstable and made of Bamboo at first. It was built around 1888-1890 by the labeled “Bridge Builder” Major Juan Zanon, a military governor of the Misamis Province.
RECONSTRUCTIONS
From then on, several improvements have been made, making it a suspension bridge to a fully concrete bridge as seen on the famous inauguration photo dated August 26, 1931.

If you ask locals, a lot of them will say that the bridge has kept its original form, but actually, one major reconstruction was made after the war.
That’s 8 bridges in between 9.66 km (6.00 mi), or 1 bridge in every 1.2 km (assuming the river is just a straight line.)
I guess too that makes Cagayan de Oro a likely candidate for the title “City of Bridges”.
