In the Sabarimala gold smuggling case, former Devaswom President N. Vasu has been remanded. This is the fifth arrest in the case. It has been found that the gold at Vatil Pally was melted in March 2019 with Vasu's knowledge. Vasu did not respond to the questions of the investigation team.
