Making a new FIBERGLASS HATCH from a MOLD

Back again guys with a new project. In this video, I walk through step by step how I build fiberglass molds using 3/4" MDF. These molds will be used for drop-in deck receivers and lids. The steps here can be modified to make any size you like.

This mold was designed to be used with a 3/4" lid so if you are planning to do this project be sure when you make your fiberglass lid that it is not thicker than 3/4" or it will not fit flush with the top of the deck.
