Metallica’s first official song released to the world. Although Cliff didn’t come up with the original bass line, you can tell he made it his own completely.
Cliff’s tone on the album is cleaner (I believe he used flat wound strings) but I wanted to add a little extra kick to it.

Bass: Rickenbacker 4001 (modified to Cliff’s specs)
Tuning: EADG
