I’ve had the chance to savour the 2015 and 2017 batches of this remarkable geuze beer, and today, I have the 2018 in my hands. Unfortunately, I missed the 2016 edition. This beer is deceptively simple yet full of complexity—brimming with flavours and nuance. Let's dive in!

Packaged in a 37.5cl bottle, this geuze boasts a robust 8.0% ABV, offering a pronounced bitterness.

Its colour ranges from blonde to amber, topped with a thick, white foam head that lingers impressively. The carbonation is excellent and remains consistent as the foam settles into a fine line, forming a delicate ring around the glass.

The aroma is fresh and invigorating, with crisp notes of apples and a touch of vanilla, complemented by subtle herbal undertones.

On the palate, it presents a sharp bitterness, balanced by the beer’s crisp body. The high astringency is noticeable, while the condensed texture contributes to a low to moderate viscosity, resulting in a refreshing, sparkling mouthfeel.
