The recent Indian elections gripped the world by the sheer scale of the democratic process and unambiguous verdict in favour of the new government. The moves and measures of the newly-elected National Democratic Alliance (NDA) led by the BJP, and with Mr Narendra Modi as the new Prime Minister, has been under the spotlight since it assumed office a month ago.

This forum hosted by the Institute of South Asian Studies at National University of Singapore will bring together some of the most eminent experts on India to debate the challenges and imperatives for India and the new government. What should investors be doing to capture the opportunities?
