How to Whip Finish by Hand!

In this video I will be demonstrating how to perform the manual whip finish technique (whip finish by hand / whip finish with fingers)! The whip finish technique is the most common technique used to secure the thread tightly when your fly or jig is completed. This is a technique that every fly tier should/must learn, and I highly recommend that you learn how to perform the whip finish with a whip finishing tool, as well as by hand.
