After the success of using robotics in the assembly of some of their plants, Fiat began to utilize them in more of their plants, especially in 1986. Fiat acquired Alfa Romeo from the Italian government.

The world's changes had a lot to do with the car designs that we saw on the roads, including the revision of the Cinquecento.
