WOW. Possibly the best Thai food that I have ever had (yes, quite possible), but DEFINITELY the best setting to EAT a delicious meal of authentic Thai food anywhere on earth. The welcome we received by Ying and Daniel, into their dream home (dream life!) was something I will never forget.

The scenery is gorgeous, the wild greenery around the house provide such a one-of-a-kind backdrop to these amazing traditional recipes... its all incredible. The thing that I won't forget however is not so much about the food, it has everything to do with this word "dream."

This is NOT a dream house because it was given to them, and nothing you see here came for free. This is not a fancy getaway destination to which a person can simply book a plane ticket to go and make their lives in some type of fantasy. Everything you see here came from hard work, very hard work, and it is even more beautiful because it is a DREAM still in the making.

Living intentionally, making the most of each day, life in the way that Ying and Daniel do life is a beautiful thing to see. It is this wonderful gift that they give to us by inviting us to come and share a day with them (actually we had so much fun that we came back for more! However, we only made a video together on the first day :-D ), and THAT is why I say I will never forget, and it's also why I'm encouraging you to visit this place for yourself.

Before we go tho, just one note about Thai food (If by now you think that I know anything about Thai food... I will say thank you for the undeserved compliment). Ying is beyond impressive with her diligence, her art, her bright and wonderful attitude - she is a humble and extremely talented chef doing her entire culture justice with her incredible cooking. These are recipes you can have in very few other places on earth, and even in those places you aren't likely to find that final ingredient (so much love!!!) that is SO present in all of this food either.
