BATTLETECH: The Axman

A battlemech often affiliated withe #HouseSteiner, the reality is, the #Axman was built as a symbol of unity inside of the #FederatedCommonwealth, and was built in both member states. In the #Ilclan era, the #FederatedSuns, #HouseDavion, in fact, is the country that would create the latest variant of this brutish design, while the #Lyancommonwealth has seemingly left it to languish.

Still, a fascinating veteran #Battlemech that has done battle for over a century in the #Innersphere, the Axman, this joint mech, would do battle against the #Clans, more specifically #ClanJadeFalcon and to a lesser extent #ClanSteelViper. It would barely survive the division of its creator-state in the collapse of the Federated Commonwealth, and now has reemerged, diminished in numbers but not in design, in the #DarkAge and Ilclan era.

Let's look over this fantastic Battlemech, for all its flaws, that has been in the setting since the early 90's.
