Daihatsu Sirion 1.3 - Engine Service

Описание к видео Daihatsu Sirion 1.3 - Engine Service

This is my 2010 Daihatsu Sirion 1.3 FWD model. It has a Toyota K3-VE 1.3 engine that needs a service.
Servicing carried out:
Engine oil change with engine oil flush,
Oil filter change,
Air filter change,
Tyre pressure checking,
General inspection of wheels, bodywork, electrics and lights.

These are the basics you should carry out with a service. They are straight-forward, and require minimal experience and the tools used are not expensive.

Engine oil is vital to be replaced as sediments and metal flakes are produced by the wear and tear of the engine. These are distributed into the oil and rub against the moving parts. This causes increased wear on engine components.

A clean oil filter means it can filter out sediments in the future. Clean oil, clean filter.
Fresh air filter allows clean air to pass into the manifold and into the engine. An old air filter clogged with dirt can affect performance, and could damage the combustion chamber.

Tyre pressures can be found in the doorjams of most cars. These are vital to maintaining control of your car, increasing fuel efficiency and dispering water effectively.

Its always good to inspect the outside of your vehicle often, look for dim lights or wheels with dodgy camber. Get to know the feel of your car, because you'll know if something feels wrong in the future.

Safe driving, hope this was informative.
